What is the need to have a desire and not act on it?

There are so many people who walk around and sit around saying" If Icould,I wish iwould,do you think I can?" I would like to know what makes you stop. Think about it nothing beats a failure other than a try. Thus the question in my mind why not try all of your youthful life it was "when I grow up" well are you not grown up? what is stopping you TRY you will have gained nothing more than knowledge and knowledge is power.
